Who Is Eligible for CDCP Coverage?
- You are a Canadian resident
- You have filed your taxes for the previous year
- Your net annual household income is $90,000 or less
- You do not have private dental insurance

- Routine, complete, specific, and emergency dental exams
- X-rays and scaling (cleanings)
- Fluoride treatments and sealants
Basic Restorative Services
- Permanent and temporary fillings
- Pain management and cavity-related treatments

Endodontic (Root Canal) Services
- Root canal treatments
- Pulpectomies and infection control
- Root canal re-treatments (preauthorization may apply)
Periodontal (Gum) Care
- Deep cleanings and abscess treatments
- Bonding of mobile teeth (preauthorization required)
- Non-surgical gum therapy
Removable Prosthodontics (Dentures)
- Routine, complete, specific, and emergency dental exams
- X-rays and scaling (cleanings)
- Fluoride treatments and sealants
Oral Surgery
- Tooth and root extractions
- Tumor or cyst removal
- Surgical drainage and bone treatments
How Much Does the CDCP Cover?
Coverage under the plan depends on your household income. You may be eligible for partial or full coverage based on the following breakdown:
Annual Household Income
- Under $70,000
- $70,000 – $79,999
- $80,000 – $89,999
Coverage Level
- 100% coverage for eligible dental services
- 60% coverage (40% co-payment)
- 40% coverage (60% co-payment)
